Tokai Occupational Therapy is a private Paediatric Occupational Therapy practice in Tokai in the southern suburbs of Cape Town.
Occupational Therapy (OT) provides vital intervention which assists children in being able to optimally engage with their different daily environments, their family members and their peers. This extends to developing skills of daily life including eating, dressing, playing and learning. The building blocks which support these include:

Tokai Occupational Therapy provides Occupational Therapy to a range of young children with a variety of different needs. The practice is well equipped to provide Sensory Integration Occupational Therapy. The focus of the practice is to provide intervention for children with sensory integration difficulties as well as disorders which may be associated with sensory integration difficulties.
Tokai Occupational Therapy specialises in providing intervention for the following:

- Early Intervention
- Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)

The occupational therapists at Tokai Occupational Therapy provide child and family centered therapy where creating strong therapeutic relationships is key. We support children and their families through each child’s unique developmental journey and whatever processes that may include. Part of this may include working with Schools, Teachers, Other Therapists (Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Play Therapists etc.) and Doctors.
